But he was pretty brave and other than a bit of a yelp and a nasty glare towards Dr Jacquin, he seems to have survived ok.
His 12 month stats are:
weight - 9.5 kg - pretty spot on average
height - 78 cm - above average
head - 47 cm - little bit above average again.
We had excellent weather yesterday afternoon so Leo and Punkle Dane went for a big walk around the lake while mum did the grocery shopping (lucky mum).
There were swans and dogs and lots of oldies pottering along the path so Leo had plenty to see. He was a happy boy.
