We have a friend in Kosovo who is a photographer so at the end of each year she takes a collection of pics for us to send out with Christmas cards. She does a great job, but as with all professional photographs we all look awkward and the shots all look very staged and a bit silly! Anyway, they are a good momento.

Happy Halloween

One of the bakeries down town has gone all out for Halloween.

Some of them made it home with me. Much to Leo's approval.

Stop over in Geneva - a little while ago

the only activity to do with kids that costs less than 50 euros - a couple of hours at the geneva beach.

And Romain at a yoga festival we recently went to. Leo and I signed up for a class and he opted to read his book in the sun, until he was put to work by the hippies making a communal vegetable stew.

While I have been busy in my studio making a film clip, Leo has been busy in his making some art work.

Drawn without any intervention whatsoever, Leo tells me it is a squirrel with his nut. And a pretty damn good one, I reckon.

You Make Me. ROBOT!

Leo got invited to a Halloween Party yesterday at his friend Matteo's house.

He chose to go dressed as a robot. A red robot to be exact! So we followed suit. Thank god for hot glue guns, which made short work of the task. And for Romain's bottle cap collection which gave us our robot knobs and dials.

The costume was sturdy enough to last through the night. Which is good news because there will be a halloween party at summer camp tomorrow. So Leo will be going dressed as........ a red robot!

Trick or treating in the neighbourhood. The locals needed a bit of a briefing beforehand because they had never heard of it before and at first thought it was a weird religious thing. I'd sign up to a religion that endorsed glittery robot costumes and lollies.
