10 months old today!

You have done a lot of growing in the past 10 months little man.  You deserve a good rest!

Playdate

Here's our little man with a couple of his playmates - Marylena from Greece who is nearly 2 and Mika from Israel who is 7 months old.

He is totally working the camera in this shot!

Dinner Date

There is never a dull moment with Leo as a dinner date.  And he is still enjoying his tucker.  Tonight it was mum's veggie mash (which apparently isn't as good as the one from the supermarket, but he still ate it all anyway because he is a good kid - despite how he looks in the photos), some cornbread with spinach and pieces of pear for dessert.  He also got some of his dad's mille feuille because his dad reckoned it tasted like rubbish.  Leo agreed and it got a good squish.

Leo Today!

Here are some pics of the little fella today.  His hair looks really dark in the first one, but it is still blonde as can be.

Hangjik

Our weekend away at the Hangjik guesthouse was a good break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Leo got in touch with nature.

And sort of enjoyed it - but judging by the look on his face here, he is already a bit 'over it, mum'.

And photos with mum and dad are 'so daggy'.

But shoulder rides always rule.

And riding in the back pack rocks!

Along the forest path...

....and through a little mountain village...

...where he found some local admirers

And finally needed a big arvo nap to recharge his little batteries after the big weekend.

9 months stats

Leo paid a visit to Dr Valbosa yesterday for his 9 month check-up.

His stats are:

Weight - 8.5 kg
Length - which I think we should call height now that he is standing up and moving around - 75 cm (I think she might have overestimated this one a bit because she stretched out his foot.  I place it more around 72-73, but we'll see in another month).
Head - 45.2 cm.

So he's doing really well!  Still eating like a maniac.  For lunch he had pea and haloumi fritters, which were excellent for mushing up all over his high chair and rubbing in his hair.

Here his is eating a shoe.
