Leo is 7 months today.  He celebrated his last days as a 6 month old baby in Greece!

Well rested, it is time to meet a new little friend - Eva from Paris Restaurant.    They first met last year when they were both 5 month old bumps in their mums' bellies.  That's Eva's mum Anna, who is Russian but married into the Paris Restaurant family.

Obviously Eva didn't find the joke as hilarious as Leo did.

The best table in the restaurant for our last lunch in Greece.  We'll be back again next year!

Tiger Wrestle

Watch out!

Leo and I were on our way home from a walk a couple of days ago when I had a craving for a steak for lunch.  So I swung into the next restaurant and ordered a big steak meal.  I was just about to start eating it when Leo decided he'd rather be at home and started to tell me and the rest of the restaurant about it.

So a waiter came over and handed Leo his i-phone and watch as a way to distract him.  Then he just walked away.  As if that would happen in any other country!  They are way too trusting here.  They don't know that Leo is descended from convicts

But it worked. As you can see from this pic, Leo has no idea what just happened.  But he's about to tuck that watch into his back pocket.

July Family Portrait

This month's family pic, taken at my new favourite spot in Kosovo - Hotel Gracanica.  We spent the day out there today, eating a good buffet brunch, drinking nice coffee and hanging out by the swimming pool (forgot to bring our togs, so no dip for us).  Leo even got in on the action - chowing down on some watermelon - he likes to chew on the cool rinds.  I think it must feel nice on his teething gums.

He's also wearing his 'Oui' shirt a day early - would have been more appropriate for Bastille Day tomorrow.  But now that it is totally covered in watermelon juice, it will have to spend the day drying on the line.

Leo gives carrot a big thumbs up!  And some of it did go in his mouth.

But it won't be long before he'll be munching down on raw carrot sticks with a mouthful of teethy-pegs like this one.
