Happy Half Birthday - and BIG NEWS!

Leo celebrated his 6 month old birthday today with a big walk through the botanical gardens because he LOVES trees, and an impromptu birthday party with his next door neighbour - little Dariah, who is 3.5 months old.

They came with presents aplenty, which Leo thought was pretty awesome - especially the books, which are up there with trees in terms of his favourite things.

And his mum cooked a cake - only half a one, because it was only half a birthday

However something came over our Darling Little Leo, the half-birthday boy, and instead of kisses good-bye, he gave Dariah a good roughing-up as a farewell gesture.

We'll forgive him his bad behaviour just this once though, because today he also 

CUT HIS FIRST TOOTH!!!!

Check-up

Ahead of his half-birthday on Monday, Leo went for his 6 month check-up this morning - a couple of days early, because who wants to spend their half-birthday at the doctors???

He weighs 7.5 kg, measures 68 cm and his brains are filling a head of 42.5 cm circumference.

Leo Loves his Papa!

The card Leo sent his Papa for French Father's Day last weekend.  He wasn't at all convinced by the artistic direction I was taking in the first few pics, he protested at M and we had to rethink a few things, but we came to a creative compromise and he was totally satisfied with the project by the final A.

I put this jumper on Leo this morning because he was being a bit grumpy and I thought the grumpy dog suited his mood.

But he's made a fibber out of me and turned into the happiest boy on the block!
