Sand Pit at GGs

He'll be expecting something bigger and better next year!

Slippery Slides and Ice Cream

Cleaning up my desktop and finding some older pics that I didn't get around to putting on the blog....

10 months on, and slippery slides and ice creams are still 2 of Leo's favourite things...

Birthday Cake

Leo helped to make my birthday extra beautiful by adding his special smartie touches to my butterfly cake.

He proved to be a cake decorator extraordinaire - and didn't even eat any of the smarties during the decoration process.

Although I think he might have been sneaking one in during this photo.  It was also Kadrije's birthday (far left) on the same day.  The team of kids help bake and decorate both cakes and they had an absolute ball.  We celebrated our birthdays on saturday night with the cakes and some champagne generously offered to us by our hosts in our mountain retreat at Hangjik.

Leo woke up this morning and when I asked him what he wanted for breakfast, he said 'birthday cake'.  Good choice!

It was beautiful weather and we went for a walk to see some horses and cows and chickens.  Leo ended up with one on his head.

And he picked a flower for his mum!

A great morning spent trying to figure out 'how stuff works' at the science centre.

Ljubljana

Despite the unforeseen and unfortunate turn of events here in Ljubljana, Leo has managed to keep us all in excellent spirits.

with dinner time jokes

and party tricks
by entertaining us with his 'mooky-cal' talents

reminding us that even when you are on the ropes

life is still pretty sweet
so sink your teeth in to every opportunity

and get in there and kick some goals

while looking very dapper, of course

take time to stop and smell the flowers, and be blown away by nature

and get up close and personal with the local wildlife whenever possible

as close as you possibly can

and always be kind to dogs and share your bikkies with them, even if they are only statue dogs
and help out wherever you can at the hospital, by getting cups of 'special water' and tearing the paper towel into the tiniest pieces possible.
